Apparently the world is just a touch crazier than you thought it was this morning when you woke up. Social media is in complete uproar over the announcement last night that ABS's new re-boot of the The Muppets will contain a fully trans-gendered Ms. Piggy. Although there has always been some speculation as to just what Ms. Piggy is, an ABC executive who could not be named has let the cat out of the bag, and the pig out of the closet.

Westboro Baptist Church organizers wasted no time in moving on the NYC headquarters of ABC with a massive distasteful protest. Several Muppets were heckled and some even pelted with hot coffee as they entered the studio for work this morning. A statement from the Muppet organization is said to be forthcoming.
